88th Readiness Division U.S. Army Reserve Center Water Infrastructure Improvements – 8(a) Set-Aside

The US Army Corps of Engineers - Rock Island District is soliciting competitive 8(a) bids under RFO Part 14 for subject requirement. The work is located at the Arlington Heights 88th Readiness Division, COL. P. Schulstad U.S. Army Reserve Center, with a physical address of 1515 West Central Road, Arlington Heights, Cook County, Illinois, and as indicated. All bids must be submitted via PIEE Solicitation Module. No emailed bids will be accepted. All files are posted to the Solicitaton module, use the link bellow to access them and be sure to follow this notice for all email updates. Base Bid The Base bid work includes, but is not limited to, demolition; directional drilling; excavation; providing a water service and main lines; providing gate valves, vaults, meters, and boxes; chlorination testing of the new water system; removing and capping fire hydrants; providing new fire hydrants; HMA patching of ACC pavement; repairing concrete sidewalks and drives; investigating and repairing a section of leaking previously abandoned watermain; seeding disturbed areas; and site restoration. Option A The work for Option A includes, but is not limited to, demolition; directional drilling; excavation; providing a new water connection to the Village of Arlington Heights watermain; plugging and capping the existing connection; providing gate valves, vaults, meters, and boxes; chlorination testing of the new water system; repairing concrete sidewalk; seeding disturbed areas; and site restoration. Option B The work for Option B includes, but is not limited to, demolition; directional drilling; excavation; providing a new water connection to the Village of Arlington Heights watermain; providing a water service and mainlines; providing gate valves, vaults, meters, and boxes; chlorination testing of the new water system; repairing concrete sidewalk; investigating existing storm sewer under Central Road; seeding disturbed areas; and site restoration.
