This solicitation will be issued as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The NAICS code for this procurement is 237990. The magnitude of construction is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The work consists of constructing a new pre-engineered metal storage building at the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers New Orleans District facility. Work includes, but is not limited to, demolition, clearing and grubbing, excavation, backfill, utility relocations, construction of a reinforced concrete foundation and pavement, installation of a pre-engineered metal building, chain-link fencing and gate, and all incidental work necessary for a complete and functional facility. This solicitation will be issued as an Invitation for Bids (IFB) using commercial procedures. The resulting contract will be Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP). The solicitation is anticipated to be issued on or about [insert anticipated solicitation date].
